With a rich background in education and a passion for nurturing well-rounded individuals, I provide bespoke tutoring and governess services to high-achieving families. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, a postgraduate in Computing, and a fully qualified teacher status (QTS), I offer academic support that goes beyond the classroom.

Having taught in outstanding schools in the UK, including Ellen Wilkinson School for Girls and Kensington Aldridge Academy, I specialise in delivering tailored Maths tuition that emphasises deep understanding and practical application. I also bring a unique approach to my teaching, integrating elements of mindfulness, leadership, communication skills, and personal growth, aiming to foster not just academic excellence but emotional intelligence and resilience.

I co-launched a school in Sri Lanka, where I developed the experience in teaching Englsih for speakers of other language and holistic, values-driven educational programme for underprivileged students. This experience honed my ability to adapt my teaching style to different cultural contexts and educational systems.

Currently, I work with high-profile families, providing a discreet, high-end educational experience focused on both academic performance and character development. My tailored approach is designed to help students grow into confident, capable individuals who are well-prepared for both academic success and the challenges of life.

As an approachable and easy-going tutor, I engage students with a variety of activities and quality resources to boost attainment. My approach also includes public speaking, mindfulness, and mindset coaching, fostering both academic success and personal growth. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students thrive academically and develop confidence, resilience, and a love for learning.

At the moment, I am self-employed, continuing to grow my tutoring and governess services while offering personalised education to high-achieving families. I’m also expanding my hours, working with more students, and focusing on further developing my expertise. In addition, I volunteer to mentor underprivileged children and school leavers in Sri Lanka, which is something I'm deeply passionate about. It’s rewarding to see these students not just academically improve, but also develop confidence and resilience.

When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I make it a point to go for early morning walks in the suburbs of London, which helps me stay grounded and clear-headed. I also love reading, particularly books on personal development. The most recent one I’ve enjoyed is Geography of Thoughts by Richard E. Nisbett.

Above all, I truly value the flexibility and freedom that being self-employed provides, as it allows me to achieve my passion for education while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
