Tutoring Jobs

Self-Employed Tutoring Jobs at Keystone

Face-to-Face, Primary Tutors in Central London

Keystone represents a team of around 350 self-employed tutors. Self-employed tutors work on a freelance basis with full control over their timetables. We look for candidates who are keen to make tutoring a part-time or full-time career.

We are particularly keen to hear from tutors, teachers and teaching assistants with experience of primary entrance examinations (7+, 8+ and 11+), as well as the primary curriculum more generally, who are looking to teach face-to-face in central London. We are also currently looking for tutors with expertise in Computer Science and IB Maths & Sciences.

We welcome – and read – all applications. We do get lots, though, so please be patient for a response. Unfortunately, we turn down far more applications than we accept. A couple of factors will greatly increase your chance of a successful application:

  • A commitment to tutoring for at least a 2-year period
  • The capacity to tutor for 3+ hours a week
  • Teaching experience – either in the classroom or as a tutor
  • A strong academic record
  • A passion for education

If we want to proceed with your application, we shall give you a call in the first instance to ask you some further questions about your experience, commitment and subject specialism. There is then a further online interview in which we will ask you to demonstrate your teaching skills and to take a short academic test.
